More About Calum

From an early age, I was limited by an adverse childhood that stifled my ability to express myself or feel confident in my choices. I was restricted, and underweight due to my mind’s attempt to create control in an uncontrollable environment, and in a constant state of fear and anxiety. This made it difficult to connect with those around me and eroded my self-confidence, both in my body and myself.

Then, at the age of twelve, my older brother, a personal trainer, introduced me to training. Joining his classes, assisting with setup, and motivating others became a sanctuary where I felt free from my stresses and anxious thoughts. I loved watching people push themselves beyond their limits and discover their potential. From that moment, I was hooked. I knew my path was to help others feel more confident and surpass their perceived limits.

Over the past sixteen years, I have dedicated myself to daily research and practice, both practically and academically, to understand the body and mind better. This journey has allowed me to optimise both, enhancing confidence and enabling myself and my clients to live lives full of growth.

I envision a world where everyone can freely express their authentic selves. I believe the initial step toward this freedom is achieving freedom from pain. When our bodies experience pain, it restricts our movement, limiting our life choices and leaving us frustrated, questioning our capabilities. Research demonstrates that chronic pain can profoundly affect our mental well-being, influencing mood and overall quality of life.
